A recently visited destination, we can definitely say Munich is worth the travel time. It has the charm of an old city but the style of a modern one. The city is filled with classic tourist destinations such as the Glockenspiel and Fraunenkirche (or Munich Cathedral). However, nothing about the shopping is old fashioned. Munich has a large pedestrian street filled with well known designer boutiques such as Louis Vuitton. It is also home to an upscale boutique, Theresa which is located in a beautiful residential area. After going downtown to hear the glockenspiel at noon, enjoy lunch at the Spatenhaus for classic German cuisine.
